Pithoragarh: The high peaks including the Munsiyari of Pithoragarh district have been snowing continuously for the last 3 days. Normal life has completely derailed due to snowfall.
On the other hand, the road connecting Munsiyari remained closed for the third day, causing a food crisis in the area. Also, the prices of essential commodities have also increased. Due to heavy snow, many vehicles got stuck in the road in Kalamuni which could barely be evacuated. If the prediction of the meteorological department proves to be true, then people in the mountain will have to be prepared for some more days to face similar cold and troubles.
