Sachin Tendulkar happy about MI bowling performance after win

Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets in IPL 2019 Qualifier 1 on Tuesday.

The spin trio of Mumbai Indians on Tuesday proved to be a major obstacle for the Chennai Super Kings batsmen as they were only able to manage a below-par total of 131 for 4 on their Chepauk home ground.

As he picked the wickets of Faf du Plessis and Murali Vijay, Mumbai Indian’s leg-spinner Rahul Chahar shone at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, leaking only 14 runs off his four overs, while Krunal Pandya and Jayant Yadav shared a wicket piece.

Surya Kumar Yadav from Mumbai Indians sweated the CSK spinners as he hit an unbeaten 71 while Ishan Kishan scored 28 runs to guide their home team.

“Heartening to see a great bowling performance by the boys, especially the spinners. @surya_14kumar’s innings along with @ishankishan51 was crucial in helping us win the game,” Tendulkar wrote on his official Twitter handle.
