Indian Medical Association’s Innovative Initiative for Voting Awareness

Lokjan Today, Rishikesh: The Rishikesh branch of the Indian Medical Association has taken a new initiative aimed at increasing voting in the Lok Sabha elections and making voters aware. The Rishikesh branch of the IMA has announced to give a discount on showing the voting marks for the next 3 days of polling in laboratories, including laboratory tests.
IMA president Dr. Hari Om Prasad said that everyone should be in their participation in this biggest festival of democracy. Every citizen must vote in national interest by becoming a conscious voter. He said that the IMA’s; Shikesh branch has decided to give relaxation to the voters. After voting, any voter will be able to get 25% discount in consultation fees of medical practitioners in IMA, showing the voting finger. There will be a discount of 10: in all lab tests including ultrasound. IMA Secretary Dr. K. Kharola and Treasurer Dr. Amit Agarwal said that IMA has taken this initiative in the creation of a strong democracy, a stable government and the country.
