Report- Kuldeep Rawat

With the monsoon season’s knock in Uttarakhand, the monsoon break began to take place on the Chardham yatra. This is the fact that thousands of pilgrims were coming to visit Char Dham every now and then this figure has started decreasing. However, till date travelers have reached record levels in Chorodhams. It is expected that once the monsoon season is over, there will be an increase in the number of travelers who once again visited the world-famous Charo Dham.
Travelers traveling to the famous Char Dham of Devumbh Uttarakhand have broken all previous records in just 2 months. This time, a large number of devotees came to visit Chardham in Char Dham Yatra. Not only this, the number of pilgrims who visited the Kedarnath shrine in the most difficult and remote region has been the highest till now this year. Due to the monsoon season, pilgrims traveling to Char Dhamam have a lot of trouble but the government has also corrected all the arrangements to deal with those problems. But during the heavy rains in the mountainous regions, nowhere in the monsoon season, there is a situation like a disaster in the mountains in the monsoon season. Apart from Chardham, Hemkund Sahib has also seen a decrease in pilgrims coming, therefore, Hemkund Sahib is situated at a very high altitude, and to reach there, it has to climb up to a distance of 19 kilometers. Not only this, Hemkund Sahib encounters all the problems of travelers to visit. There has been heavy snowfall this season and in this case, continuous snow melts after the monsoon season arrives. Hemkund Sahib is getting cold in the cold, while the passengers are also taking precaution.
Instructions have already been issued to the concerned District Magistrate and the SSP at the government level for the travelers who are reaching Uttarakhand to visit Chardham in the monsoon season. So that any of the devotees to come to face no trouble in any way. With this, trains have also been installed on the travel routes so that if there are any problems like disaster due to some reason or if there is any problem like road obstruction, then the roads can be opened with immediate effect
Let’s take a look at the number of four Dham passengers …

Kedarnath Dham – 785681
Gangotri Dham – 372739
Yamunotri Dham – 356865
