Two youths arrested for murder of Home Guards deployed on election duty

Police arrested two villagers of Naini village in connection with the murder of Gharghard, a resident of Kaladhungi, stationed at Naini booth four days ago. The cause of the murder is being said to be a dispute after drinking alcohol. The body was foiled to prove the death of the unconscious young man by pushing during a dispute.

In the election on April 11th, at Naini booth near Kanalichina in Dedhat area of ​​Gharghard, Hem Chand of Kaladungi resident was on duty guard. After the completion of the poll, the Home Guard Hem came out of the booth and did not return. When he did not return, the deputy commissioner of the police station informed of his disappearance report in Kanaalichina. When the information was received, the police remained engaged in search of a missing man during the night, but nothing was known. On the second day the team of SDRF was also deployed. The police and SDRF team found the body of the young man near the forest hundred meters away from the polling station. The possibility of murder could have been found on the body of the deceased, if it was found to have injury marks and drag marks. Police said the murder was registered under section 302/221 under the direction of murder. Meanwhile, the relatives of the deceased also arrived here and filed a murder case.

In this regard, on Sunday, Ash Ashok Dhankar arrested Naini resident Dinesh Singh Dhami alias Deepak and Trilok Singh Dhami resident of Naini village. Kanalichina’s SO Ashok Dhankad said that both Hem Chandra and the arrested persons had also consumed alcohol on the first day. There was a dispute between drinking liquor after drinking more alcohol. During the dispute, both the accused pushed the young man, causing the his jaw to hit a stone and became deeply wounded. The young man fell unconscious. Both of them were scared.

According to the police, to prove the case of suicide, they opened his pants of  and pushed the man into the trench. Meanwhile, the man died due to excessive bleeding. Police said that the blood of the man was flushed out of the body, during the post mortem, there was no drop of blood in the body. Arrested Trilok Singh was kept in the polling booth to make food. The body was found only at a distance of 100 meters from the polling station. Dog squad had to be deployed to find the body. Where the first blood drop was found, the dog took them to the dead body. Both the accused have been arrested and sent to jail.
