Katrina Kaif will grow old on screen in Bharat: Ali Abbas Zafar

Although fans are gagging Salman rocking the salt-and-pepper look, Ali Abbas Zafar, director of the film, has revealed that Katrina Kaif will also be seen in the film’s older avatar.

Talking to an entertainment website, the director said, “Katrina will also be shown in an older role like Salman as they journey through the different time frames together. You have never seen her like this before. She has given a fabulous performance and shines through the film.”

He added, “We have flown in a prosthetics team from abroad for both Salman and Katrina for their various looks including the bit where both are aged. While Salman would sometimes get restless as we had to try his various looks, Katrina was extremely patient.”

Talking about Salman, the director said, “Salman is a beautiful human being from the inside and that is what has come through in the film. I have used his super stardom along with his performance and the outcome is mind-blowing! Both Katrina and Salman have given incredible performances in the movie.”

Bharat is Korean film An Ode To My Father’s official remake. The film will illustrate Salman’s journey from 18 to 70 years of age. It depicts India’s history through an ordinary man’s life.
