Fire in market at Piran Kaliyar

In the Piran Kaliyar district of Roorkee, dozens of shops were burnt to ashes late on Monday night. Fire extinguishers were on site to extinguish the fire.

According to the information, a fire broke out due to short circuit at a sweet shop at Fawara Chowk around 3 o’clock late on Monday night.

The fire in Prasad shop was so fierce that dozens of shops, including jewelery and toy stores, were burnt to ashes.

In which goods worth millions of rupees were also burned. There was a ruckus between people and police on the information of the fire.

The fire brigade’s vehicles barely managed to control the fire. Otherwise, the entire market would have been up in flames.
