Dumak village residents will now vote

Gopeshwar: Villagers who boycott voting on the demand for road construction till Dumak village of Joshimath Vikas block, have now agreed to join the poll on the assurance of PMGSY officers. Grameen Kanji was angry because of the construction work Mackot-Bamruru and Helang-Damak motorway was incomplete. Tanuj , Assistant Engineer of PMGSY, arrived in the village along with Sweep team, promised villagers to get sanjeee before April 10 – assured the construction of rock-cutting work on Macht-Maitro-Bamru road through machine. After which the villagers have agreed to increase the participation in Lok Sabha elections. On Thursday, Sweep’s team reached Dumk village twenty kilometers on foot. The team held a meeting with the villagers. And in the Lok Sabha elections, he called for a division. PMGSY’s Assistant Engineer Tanuj Kamboj told the villagers that before 10 April, road to Mikot Road JCB machine will be used for cutting. After which the villagers agreed to increase particpation in the election. District Coordinator Dr MS Sajwana said that Dumk was angry at the village’s rural road. Now the villagers’ displeasure has been removed. The villagers have agreed to increase the voting and participate.
