National Commission for Scheduled Castes calls out the Chief Secretary and DGP in case of death of SC youth

Lokjan Today, Dehradun : National Scheduled Castes Commission has summoned Chief Secretary and DGP on the SC Youth’s Death episode of a village in Nainabag area of ​​Tehri district. In the case of the death of the Scheduled Caste youth, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes has summoned six officials including Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh and Director General of Police Anil Rathribari. The Commission has ordered the date of May 15 for the hearing. This can lead to problems for the government.
Let’s say that the case registered in the case of death by the beating of the stereotype of scheduled caste youth has been converted into murder. Also arrested three accused.

However, due to lack of clarity in the post-mortem report, the death of the deceased has been preserved. Here, the body of the young man was cremated in the presence of police and administration. Angry relatives of the deceased had earlier performed medical checkup in a  primary health center in Nainbagh with the dead body. He was calm on the assurance of action against the accused, the SDM.
This incident took place on 26th April at the wedding ceremony in Shikot village in Kamptee Police Station area of ​​Tehri district. It is alleged that some youths from the Basan village resident of the Scheduled Caste were badly beaten by some upper castes to sit on the chair during dinner. Jitendra got worried about the chair with a person who came back from the stall. The injured Jitendra took his last breath at the Mr Mahant Indiresh Hospital in Dehradun.

Jitendra’s sister Pooja had filed a lawsuit against the seven people of the village on the same day after the incident in the Campati police station and under the SC-ST act.
After Jitendra’s death during the treatment, the relatives took the body of the patient outside the  house in Dehradun for demanding a murder case against the accused. They were preparing to go to CM’s house with the body, but the police stopped them near the hospital. Somehow the late night matter was calmed down.

On Monday morning, the family along with the body reached a primary health center in Nainbagh and started demonstrating against the demand for action against the accused. Sister Puja of the deceased has accused that the police was trying to save the accused. In the meantime, the SDM Sanjeev Raja Abbas also reached there on the information of the commotion. They explained to the family. After this, cremation of the dead body was performed in the presence of police and administration along Yamuna river.

Tehri’s Superintendent of Police Yogendra Singh Rawat said that after the death of a Scheduled Caste youth, a murder case has been registered against seven villagers on the basis of the statements of the family. Besides three accused, Singh, Gajje Singh and Hukum Singh have been arrested. The arrest of other accused is being given to Dashiba. In the wake of the incident, SP Dr. Rawat reached Srikot village on Monday. They met the relatives of the deceased and got information about the episode.
