Ambedkar’s statue destroyed at Jiyapota village of Haridwar, creates ruckus

Lokjan Today, Haridwar: There was a ruckus on breaking the statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar in Haridwar. This is an incident of Jiyapota village of Kankhal Thanaxat of Haridwar . The police is trying to convince people on the spot. According to the information, Ambedkar statue was destroyed about nine months before the Jiyapota village situated on Haridwar-Luxor Road. During that time the administration had brought the villagers a new statue and brought peace to the villagers. Last night, an Assamese element broke the statue. Scheduled Caste people in the village are creating a ruckus The police  officers of Kankhal police station are heading towards the village.
