After the relief rescue operation in natural calamities, the Air Force has asked the government for records

Lokjan Today, Dehradun: In the last few years, the Air Force has asked for the relief, relief work done by the Uttarakhand regime during natural calamities. The chief secretary directed the Chamoli district administration to submit the report of the helicopter and other expenditure on behalf of the Air Force during the disaster in the past years. Air Force bills are being explored by the administration. Governance is also taking seriously the due payment of the Air Force, that during the time of the disaster, the Air Force and Army will not be able to retreat by rescue operations.

With the Kedarnath tragedy of the year 2013, the army and air forces have emerged as the trouble-maker in other disasters. In the year 2013, as well as pilgrims stranded in Kedarnath, Badrinath Dham and Hemkund Sahib, the Air Force’s junior angels came in handy. It is being told that on behalf of the government, the Air Force has to pay about 20 crore rupees for disaster relief, rescue work. The Air Force has a liability of around six lakh rupees even from the Chamoli district. The high officials of the Air Force have sent a letter to the Uttarakhand government for payment of outstanding bills. The Chief Secretary has summoned all the District Magistrates of the state to report the expenditure incurred on disaster relief and rescue work by the Air Force. Disaster Director Piyush Routela said that these days Air Force expenditure reports are being prepared. It will soon be handed over to the government. Here, Chamoli District Magistrate Swati S. Bhadauria said that the payment of ATF due to the instructions of the government is being prepared. The report will be handed over to the government shortly.
