Yesterday on 27/09/2019 at 07:30 pm, some passengers who came to visit Badrinath from Chhattisgarh at Police Station Badrinath were informed that one of their companions had gone on trekking and has not yet returned and contacted by mobile On being told by him that he has lost the way due to the darkness, Mr. Badrinath immediately led the sub-inspector Vinod Chaurasia on the above information by the police. In fact, a team of SDRF and police station was dispatched at 08:00 pm to rescue the said passenger, the team traveled 10 km on foot despite heavy rains, extreme cold, and darkness, at 09:45 pm He was recovered and first aid.
The team traveled the said 20 km in just 3:30 hours and the passenger was rescued and brought back.

The trekker was handed over to his family by the police at 11:00 pm, all the passengers were thanked by the local police and the SDRF team for prompt action and the Chamoli police was roughed up by the locals.
