Yatra for “Baba Barfani” starts from TImersen. People come to see Shivlinga made of ice

Lokjan today: Chamoli : Yatra for Baba barfani starts with chants of Lord Shiva in Niti Valley of Chamoli district.After worshipping Nandadevi Panchayat Head Prakash Rawat and Joshimath Municipal Head SHailendra Pawar Start Yatra as per rituals.People asked baba barfani to fulfill their wiahes in Timmersen.More than 400 people went for darshan of baba barfani which included local toursits as well as people for other parts of the country and some from outside india.Shivlinga made of ice is situated in Niti valley of Chamoli district. While it was limited to only local people so far. This time it was decided Baba starting blizzard trip. The first visit was scheduled to begin in February. But due to heavy snowfall it got postponed.After administration behaved rudely , the locals formed a mahadev seva committe and began yatra.Under the leadership of committee head Sher Singh Rana , people walked for a kilometre on NIti bridge to see baba barfani in timmersen village.Before entering the cave of baba barfani devotees bathed from the water flowing from the mountain.Banpa head Dharmendra Pal said Gmsali for which passengers Banpa who are adequate in the surrounding villages, including policy.
