These 3 schools of the capital are on the radar of the Department of Education

District Education Officer Dehradun issued a notice to these three schools operating in the capital Dehradun. The District Education Officer has issued a notice to the Principal and managers of these schools.

In Uttarakhand, only schools with Right to Education recognition will be allowed to operate. If a school is operated without RTE accreditation then action will be taken against it. Schools that do not have RTE accreditation will be declared illegal. Dehradun District Education Officer of Dehradun has issued a notice to 3 schools without RTE recognition. The Right to Education Act of 2009 is applicable in the whole country. Under this, every child between 6 to 14 years has been given the right to free and compulsory education. All schools have to meet their standards under RTE. Under Section 19 of RTE, all private schools are required to get a certificate of recognition. Many private schools in the capital Dehradun are not following its terms. They are required to get a certificate under RTE. Apart from this, the education department also needs to get a physical verification of all private schools. Those who do not have a certificate of recognition will be issued notice.
