Russian plane crash: Terrifying videos capture moment Aeroflot Superjet burst into flames

The plane flew across the runway like a pebble skipping across water. The plane flew up one second and then dived down. It hit the runway and bounced up, flying up before diving down once again. The plane finally slammed into the runway and burst into flames. The plane — now a big ball of fire — dragged along on the runway, before finally coming to rest as angry flames devoured its body.

This was the horror sight seen at an airport in Russia’s Moscow on Sunday. Forty-one people were killed after an Aeroflot passenger aircraft crash landed at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport and burst into flames. The cause of the fire and the crash remains unknown.

But, terrifying videos from both outside and inside the Aeroflot jet, which had 73 passengers and five crew members on board, show the horror onboard the plane.

The very first video to emerge of the crash was of the Aeroflot jet — a Sukhoi Superjet 100 model — dragging across the runway in Moscow with its tail on fire.
