After the abolition of Sections 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP is running a mass awareness campaign across the country. The Jan Jagran Abhiyan in Uttarakhand was started by former Union Minister Uma Bharti.

In the capital Dehradun, former Union Minister Uma Bharti launched the Jan Jagran Abhiyan. Several BJP MLAs were also present at the event, including BJP state president MP Ajay Bhatt. Uma Bharti said that part of Kashmir is ours and Pak Occupied Kashmir is also ours. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah deserve congratulations for this tough decision and step. Uma Bharti said that the purpose of this Jan Jagran Abhiyan is to tell the general public what are the benefits of removing Sections 370 and 35A. On the other hand, Uma Bharti counted what major achievement of another central government, while on the other hand, Uma Bharti took an attacking stance against Congress, including Rahul Gandhi. Uma Bharti discussed all the points from the imposition of Article 370 in Kashmir till the removal of Article 370 after so many years, Uma Bharti avoided speaking on issues other than BJP’s Jan Jagran Abhiyan on Sections 370 and 35A. Uma Bharti said that I have been prominently involved in all BJP movements. Through media now our talk is reaching the people. I am saddened to see the workers being attacked. Atal Ji, Advani Ji, Modi Ji, and Amit Shah Ji have progressed hard. Regarding the Ganga cleanliness campaign, Uma Bharti said that Ganga will remain uninterrupted and clean. Ganga will be the work of cleaning. The work that is to be done on the banks of the Ganges has been launched. Progress on STP and all other works is going on. Uma Bharti did not make any statement regarding Chinmayananda. Uma Bharti refused to speak on this question. On the situation of the country and the period of recession, Uma Bharti said that there is no time of any recession, India is showing progress globally. Due to the many schemes of the government, people are getting employment. All the people are standing on their feet. Regarding the traffic rules, Uma Bharti said that the right to enforce this rule is with the states and its results are coming up.
