Haridwar’s auto driver on strike for harassment by police

Lokjan Today, Haridwar: To allow the city ​​to get rid of Haridwar on the weekend, the police administration have banned autos from operating on the highway. Whilst opposing, all auto drivers went on a strike. Auto drivers used to carry sticks  in their hands. In many places the protesters stopped the vehicles forcibly. This led to a dispute. The people had to face huge trouble due to the absence of available vehicles in the city in the fierce heat. Auto drivers have accused the police of harassment.
