Congress leader hangs himself in suspicious circumstances

Kashipur: Former Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mahendra Sharma, who has been named as senior Congress leader in Kashipur and has been in various positions in the organization, has ended his life by hanging in suspicious circumstances. This is an heartbreaking incident for the Congress lobby while the police officers have been closely examining and treating this incident as very suspicious.

At 3 o’clock when he did not answer the door, his younger son, Harshit, shouted and knocked on the door but in vain. The lock was opened using the second key of Mahendra Sharma’s room and inside they found Mahendra Sharma hanging in a trunk which shocked the entire family. For the whole time Additional officials of the police, including Additional Superintendent of Police Dr Jagdish Chandra, Rajiv Kumar, who reached the spot, collected information while closely inspecting the body and site of Mahendra Sharma and the police officers are still escorting them in the matter. Family members refused to come in front of the camera!
