Dehradun – Pakistan has been troubled since the removal of Section 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Security has been beefed up at all airports in the country amid fears of terrorist attacks. The Civil Aviation Security Bureau (BCAS) has asked the management of all airlines and airports that now passengers will have to reach the airport 3 hours in advance for domestic flights. Those taking international flights will have to arrive at the airport for 4 hours in advance. Keeping in view the security of Independence Day, this rule will be applicable from 10 August to 30 August. Whereas, in the normal situation, the airport had to go 2 hours for domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights.

The Bureau of Aviation said that all the vehicles coming in the periphery of the airport will be investigated. Whether it is in parking, outside the terminal or pick-drop service. Similarly, all passengers will have a very thorough investigation from entering the airport to boarding the plane. Not only this, visitor passes will not be available at the airport till 30 August. The bureau has also closed the entry of visitors. At the same time, not only the passengers will be investigated, but all the employees of the airport including the pilot, crew staff, ground staff will be examined. It will also be seen that none of them has drunk alcohol. All of these will be the breath analyzer test. Whereas, till now only pilots and cabin crew went through this process. Following the order issued by the BCAS, the eye-movement between security has also intensified at Jawaligrand International Airport in Dehradun. This order will be implemented from August 10, while the security system has already been tightened.
