The central government has given instructions to the states to deal with this serious epidemic. On which states have started working. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has directed the Ministry of Women and Child Development to adopt and care for the malnourished children of the state. So that the status report of the children can be found easily.

According to the figures of the Uttarakhand Ministry of Women and Child Development, 1600 children in the state are highly malnourished while 17000 are malnourished. For whom, following the orders of the Chief Minister, a program for adoption of children has been set up this September. This program will be run throughout the month. Under this, the officers of the district administration, from the Chief Secretary, have been given the responsibility of adopting one child each. At the same time, women working in Anganwadi will be specially trained to tackle malnutrition so that children in their respective areas can be protected from malnutrition. Talking about the year 2019, this year it is a matter of relief that in the survey conducted for malnutrition, there has been a decline of 2 percent among the malnourished children in India.
