In CAA Protest, railway property has lost so many crores …

Violent demonstrations are taking place in many states of the country including UP and Bihar to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

In the same Prayagraj, an FIR was lodged against 100 persons for organizing protests yesterday. About 150 people were detained. Another FIR was registered against 10,000 unidentified persons on charges of violation of Section 144 in the area.

Railway property worth Rs 88 crore (87,94,56,359) has been damaged in violent protests against the citizenship law of Indian Railways. Property worth Rs 72 crore has been damaged in Eastern Railway Zone. Property worth Rs 13 crore in the South Eastern Railway Zone and Rs 3 crore in the Northeast Frontier Zone has been damaged.
