Hundreds of employees have been rendered unemployed due to the lockdown of Amcor Flexible India Private Limited of Sidkul Industrial Park in Udhamsingh Nagar, Sitarganj – Sitarganj. A notice of closure of the company has been posted at the factory gate. The packaging factory employed 114 workers, who became unemployed on Monday. The workers were forced to shut down the company without notice. They created a ruckus at the factory gate. Performed protest strongly to stop the factory.

 

According to the information, the company had planted its plant in the year 2006-07. Flexible packaging works in this factory. It is being told that 79 workers were on-duty in the factory, while 35 employees were on contract. According to the information given, the company management did not allow anyone to stop the company In a discussion with the workers, it was found that after Sunday was a holiday when they reached the company for work on Monday, the lock was hanging on the gate. The arrest notice on the gate was Chaspa. The notice was dated on July 26. Seeing the notice of detention, the ground under the employees’ feet slipped. Shocked-troubled employees started committing uproar at the factory gate. Shamika says that company management cheated them. After this, all the employees sat in front of the gate and started protesting against the management of the company. The closed company is headquartered in Australia. It has seven plants in India. Its headquarters in India is in Mumbai, while Asia is headquartered in Singapore. The company has about two hundred and fifty plants in the world. So all those workers have been sitting indefinitely.
