Man arrtested for duping people on OLX: Dehradun

The cyber a police station in Dehradun has arrested Cyber Criminal of Alwar, who cheated on the OLX in the name of Army. In the name of selling the car, the accused had cheated up to two lakh rupees from many people of Doon.

So far, the investigation of the fake bank accounts of the accused has been disclosed to thwart 30 lakh rupees. STF DIG Ridhim Agarwal told that the complaints of cheating by getting the active cyber thugs operating on the OLX were getting blamed for being employed in the Indian Army.

Many people were cheated on the name of selling cars and mobile After this, a special team of the cyber police station was formed after registering a case. In the judgment of Inspector Amar Chand Sharma, there has been an end to the fact that cyber thieves belong to Alwar district in Rajasthan.

Subsequently, Team Alwar was sent under Inspector Sharma’s leadership. Following the compilation of the evidence, Palan Kheda district Alwar, a resident of Azhar Mohammad alias Azhar Khan, was arrested.

In the initial inquiry, the accused has admitted to cheating of nearly Rs 30 lakh in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Thugs have been confirmed from the accused’s bank accounts.

The accused made the Indian Army’s card and photograph on the OLEX as a victim to the people in the name of selling vehicles. The SIM card taken on several mobile phones and fake IDs has been recovered from the accused.
