Sachin Tendulkar turns 46 today

Former teammates and familiar faces from the cricket fraternity wished Tendulkar on his birthday , ‘Master Blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar turns 46 today. Born on 24th April 1973, Tendulkar remains one of the world’s biggest cricket icons the game has ever known and his 24-year career gave us some of cricket’s most exciting times as well as inspired a whole generation to fall in love with the game.

Tendulkar announced his retirement from One Day Internationals in December 2012, from Twenty20 in October 2013, and finally, all forms of cricket on November 13, 2013, after playing his 200th and final Test match against the West Indies at his home ground, Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

Sachin Tendulkar scored a total of 34,357 runs from 664 international cricket matches in the span of his cricketing career.
